I finally got a change to try out the Lululun Plus Clary Sage Sheet mask after a long streak of laziness… It’s been a while since I used a sheet mask and I’m pretty happy I chose this one to get back in the groove. This mask is made to help you feel refreshed after a long day (or a long few weeks in my case). With the spicy smell of Clary Sage and added benefits of lemon balm to help prevent skin aging it’s definitely a strong mask to try.
I really enjoyed the smell of the Clary Sage Sheet Mask at first. It was really refreshing and relaxing at the same time. However… after a while I kind of felt like I just had a bunch of vegetables on my face. The smell was pretty overwhelming and with the added irritation the sheet mask brought it was kind of hard to keep the mask on for the full 10 min.
Of course, in my experience with the Lululun Sheet Masks I tend to feel a little sting while the mask is on however there is no sign of redness or irritation after taking it off. Considering the recommended time is 10 minutes I kept it on for that amount but I think 5 min for me is just enough. As far as the size goes, it’s no different than the other Lululun Plus series and is a little big for small faces.
In general, I feel like I’m not a bit Aroma Oil Mask fan and would prefer to use Lululun’s standard mask series. However, for friends or family that like Aroma Oil, I think this would be great as a gift.
